Welcome to my little corner of the web.
I have been working on a number
of projects; which include my own family tree based on the Fehr name
and also my wife's family tree based on the Toye name.
Of some special interest to
those of you researching Mennonite genealogy is a couple of documents I
have now inputted into their own genealogy database and I have also
incorporated them into my own personnal database. These documents shows
the movement of an early brother in the de Veer family who seems to
have gone in a different direction than the rest of the family. For the
most part the de Veer family over the years moved from the Netherlands
to Prussia, back to the Netherlands back to West Prussia and Danzig and
then some to Canada. The descendants of the brother who took a
different path in life show up in the U.S.A., South America and
especially in Aruba. Check in the Family Tree section for more info.
For those of you who descend
from Heinrich Fehr (1846 - 1911) and Sarah Neufeld (1847 - 1922) make
sure you check out the Reunion section; especially the Reunion 2007
area. There have been two past reunions of this family in 2003 and 2005
with another planned for 2007.
I have one MAJOR rule for those of you using this siye. That is NO
information on this site may ever be shared with Family Tree Maker or
Ancestry.com or any of their off shoots. I will not do all of this work
to have someone else gain the monetary rewards. That somebody is FTM
and Ancestry who obtain the info from people and then sell it.
