Bernhard Krahn died on 13 January 1957 at Neuanlage, Hague-Osler Reserve, Saskatchewan, at age 94. He was buried on 17 January 1957 at Neuanlage, Hague-Osler Reserve, Saskatchewan.
     He immigrated on 26 June 1876 to Quebec City, Quebec, arriving aboard the S.S. Mississippi.

     Bernhard George Krahn was born on 2 March 1783. He married Sarah Lehn, daughter of Kornelius Jacob Lehn and Sara Buhler, on 30 April 1811. Bernhard George Krahn died on 2 March 1862 at age 79.
     He immigrated in 1789 to Neuenburg, Chortitza.

In the 1806 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed in Neuenburg (P. Rempel, p. 27). In the 1814 Chortitza Heads of Households List he is listed at Neuenburg #10. He transferred ownership of his home in Neuenburg, Chortitza Colony to his son Peter in 1849 per Odessa Archive, Fund 6, Inventory 5, File 133. The family record erroneously states that he was born in Chortitza. His birth date makes that impossible.
