Esquire Jan Evert Lewe van Aduard married Gijsberta Jannetje Martha de Veer, daughter of Abraham de Veer and Dorothea Elisabeth van Uytrecht, on 2 December 1804. Esquire Jan Evert Lewe van Aduard died on 12 December 1832 at age 58. He was killed in action on board Zr. Ms. frigate Euridyce on the Schelde before the Kruisschans (Cross entrenchment).
     He served in the military as a Rear Admiral.
