Peter "Schencka" Neufeld married Susanna Bergen, daughter of Heinrich Bergen and Susanna Neufeld, on 11 June 1844. Peter "Schencka" Neufeld died on 21 October 1922 at Manitoba at age 101.
     He immigrated on 27 July 1874 to Quebec City, Quebec, arriving aboard the S. S. Nova Scotian.

     Peter A. Neufeld was born on 30 October 1904 at Didsbury, Alberta. He married Katharina Fehr, daughter of David N. Fehr and Katarina Peters, on 14 August 1938.

     Peter A. Neufeld was born on 15 March 1879. He was the son of Abram P. H. Neufeld and Anna T. Dyck. Peter A. Neufeld married Anna Unrau.

     Peter Dirk Neufeld was born on 19 December 1823 at Kronsgarten, Chortitza. He was the son of Dietrich D. Neufeld and Helena Martens. Peter Dirk Neufeld married Anna Plenert on 24 October 1854. Peter Dirk Neufeld died on 13 March 1894 at Wiesenfeld, Pavlograd, Ekaterinoslav, at age 70.

     Peter E. Neufeld was born. He was the son of Peter Neufeld and Magaretha Ens. Peter E. Neufeld married Aganetha Peters, daughter of Cornelius Peters and Helena Friesen, on 7 September 1969.

     Peter F. Neufeld is the son of Johann Neufeld and Maria Friesen.

     Peter J. Neufeld was born on 2 March 1895 at Manitoba. He was the son of Johann Neufeld and Susanna H. Bartsch. Peter J. Neufeld married Anna Fehr, daughter of Johann Fehr and Anna Harms, on 17 December 1916. Peter J. Neufeld died on 18 March 1934 at age 39.

     Peter K. Neufeld was born on 11 September 1915. He was the son of Johann B. Neufeld and Anna Klassen. Peter K. Neufeld died on 9 September 1998 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, at age 82. He was buried at Schanzenfeld, Saskatchewan.

     Peter M. Neufeld was born on 24 April 1887 at Manitoba. He was the son of Peter Neufeld and Helena Rempel. Peter M. Neufeld married Maria Dyck on 15 April 1909. Peter M. Neufeld died on 24 May 1982 at Rosthern, Saskatchewan, at age 95.

     Peter P. Neufeld is the son of Johann J. Neufeld and Helena P. Peters. Peter P. Neufeld married Maria Reddecop, daughter of Jacob Redekop and Katharina Wiens, on 9 July 1967 at Nuevo Ideal, Durango.

     Peter U. Neufeld married Elizabeth Penner, daughter of Peter Penner and Maria Dyck, on 19 July 1900.

     Rachel Elizabeth Anne Neufeld is the daughter of William (Bill) Neufeld and Martha J. Neudorf.

     Randolph Ralph Neufeld is the son of Jacob K. Neufeld and Margaret Friesen. Randolph Ralph Neufeld married Linda Maureen McCollough on 8 March 1980 at Lethbridge, Alberta.

     Reagan Todd Neufeld is the son of Peter Neufeld and Julia Ann Derksen.

     Richard Neufeld married Gertrude Marie Bueckert, daughter of Jake Bueckert and Eva Bueckert, on 18 October 1997.

     Richard James Neufeld is the son of David Neufeld and Susie Banman.

     Richard James "Rick" Neufeld married Laura Margaret Penner, daughter of Jacob M. Penner and Margaret Fehr, on 4 May 1974 at Hague, Saskatchewan.

     Robert Gordon Neufeld is the son of Jack (John) Neufeld and Norma Isabelle Dyck. Robert Gordon Neufeld married Patsy Maureen Jonat on 2 August 1986.

     Rosemary Rita Neufeld is the daughter of Abram K. Neufeld and Phyllis Margret White. Rosemary Rita Neufeld married Roger Henry Nordstrum on 14 September 1973.

     Roxanne Nicole Neufeld is the daughter of Clarence Evan Neufeld and Sarah Wiebe.

     Ruby Neufeld was born. She married George Reimer, son of Kornelius Reimer and Aganetha Schellenberg.

     Ruby Ann Neufeld is the daughter of David Neufeld and Susie Banman.

     Russell Brent Neufeld is the son of Alfred Abram Neufeld and Leona Veronica Epp. Russell Brent Neufeld married Connie Mae Fehr, daughter of Cornelius P. Fehr and Sarah Berg, on 29 June 1985 at Hague, Saskatchewan.

     S. Neufeld married Peter Friesen, son of Jakob Friesen and Elisabeth Fehr.

     S. Neufeld married Isaac Schmitt, son of Bernard R. Schmitt and Katharina Wall.

     Saara Neufeld was born on 27 December 1807. She married Herman H. Neufeld on 29 December 1832. Saara Neufeld died on 3 October 1866 at age 58.

     Sadie Elaine Neufeld is the daughter of William K. Neufeld and Elisabeth Fehr. Sadie Elaine Neufeld married Stanley Robert Hiebert, son of Jacob M. Hiebert and Maria Friesen, on 31 July 1971 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The marriage was officiated by by Rev. David Wiebe.

     Samuel Jeremiah Neufeld is the son of Douglas Peter Neufeld and Tanya Rae Schlageter.

     Sara Neufeld was born on 18 August 1847. She was the daughter of Johann Neufeld and Margaretha Peters. Sara Neufeld married Heinrich Fehr, son of Benjamin Fehr and Elizabeth Martens, on 8 December 1870. Sara Neufeld died on 4 September 1922 at Reinland, Saskatchewan, at age 75.
     She and Heinrich Fehr immigrated on 19 June 1876 S.S. Sardinian. to Quebec City, Quebec.

          HEINRICH AND SARA FEHR FAMILY

     Earlier forms of Fehr were DeVeer, then Vehr.
     The first member of this family name of whom there is exact information was Gysbert Jansz de Veer, born may 14, 1556 at Schiedam, South Holland. About 1580 he settled at Danzig, Prussia. He returned to Holland living in Amsterdam for some time and then returned to Danzig, where he died on May 17, 1615.
     Among the first emigrants from Prussia to Russia, was Benjamin de Veer in 1793. He settled at Neuendorf in the Chortitza settlement.
     An Isaak de Veer is found in 1802 in the village of Chortitza. The members of this family emigrated from Russia to America after 1874.
     Among the Mennonite immigrants who arrived in Quebec on June 19, 1876, on board the S.S. Sardinian were the following Vehrs: Benjamin Vehr, born December 7, 1815; died February 23, 1895; Elizabeth Vehr (nee Martens), born May 16, 1816, died April 5, 1886; their children: Jakob - April 18, 1836; Benjamin - December 24 1837 - September 27, 1904; Johann - June 9, 1839; Maria - February 3, 1844; Henrich - June 15, 1846 - September 12, 1911; Isaak - October 2, 1848; Elizabeth - June 7, 1853; David - August 16, 1857 and Katharina - February 16, 1862.
     Heinrich S. Fehr (Vehr) was born on June 15, 1846 in the village of Chortitza in the province of Ekaterinslav in South Russia. He came to Canada with his wife Sara (nee Neufeld) and three children: Johann, Elisabeth and Heinrich.
     Elisabeth became seriously ill during the stormy Atlantic crossing, but she was sustained by the fervent prayers of the immigrants. They dreaded a burial at sea. She died one day before the ship landed at Quebec and their prayers for a burial on land had been answered. She was buried in Quebec City.
     Mr. Heinrich Fehr settled in Manitoba on NE 1/4 4-3-4 W1 and got a homestead patent on November 29, 1886. He sold it in 1905 and got a homestead entry on NE 1/2 26-14-14 W3 on October 18, 1905 in the Montford School district in the district of Assiniboia, later know as Saskatchewan. He began actual residence on April 28, 1906, having brought his wife and son Peter. Here he continued to farm and to do blacksmithing. Mrs. Peter Dyck (nee Anna Froese) recalls, as a child, dragging ploughshares to Mr. Fehr's shop for sharpening.
     Another of his skills was that of a herbalist.
     By 1906 he had broken and cropped 15 acres and by 1909 he had 78 acres under cultivation. He listed his livestock as five horses, five cattle and three hogs. He valued his buildings: house, 12 by 20 (main part) with a lean to at $600.00, a stable at $300.00, a summer kitchen at $75.00, a blacksmith shop at $100.00 and a well at $25.00.
     He farmed until he was 65 years of age and spent his last days on the homestead, until he died on September 12, 1911. He was buried at the Schanzenfeld cemetery.
     His wife went to live with her son Jacob Fehr in Rhineland. She died in 1921 or 1922 and was buried in the Rhineland cemetery.
     To this union were born: Johann - February 29, 1872 (Russia) - November 1944, Elisabeth - October 28, 1873 (Russia) - June 18, 1876; Heinrich - September 2, 1875 (Russia), Jakob - September 17, 1877 (Canada) - April 27, 1881, Sara - February 24, 1882 (Canada) - November 3, 1906, Elisabeth - March 14, 1884 (Canada), Jacob - January 1, 1886, Isaak - March 20, 1888 and Peter - January 26, 1891.

     Sara Neufeld was born on 30 November 1851. She was the daughter of Jakob Neufeld and Sara Dridger. Sara Neufeld married Isaak Fehr, son of Benjamin Fehr and Elizabeth Martens, on 8 March 1877. Sara Neufeld died on 2 March 1910 at age 58.

     Sara Neufeld was born. She was the daughter of Isaak Neufeld and Helena Fehr.

     Sarah Neufeld was born on 17 January 1909. She was the daughter of Franz Neufeldt and Margaretha Wieler. Sarah Neufeld died on 20 January 1910 at age 1.

     Sarah Neufeld was born on 15 May 1821. She married Peter Wolf, son of Johann Wolf and Anna Peters, on 11 May 1844. Sarah Neufeld died on 5 January 1866 at age 44.

     Sarah Neufeld was born on 19 March 1917 at Wymark, Saskatchewan. She was the daughter of Johann B. Neufeld and Anna Klassen. Sarah Neufeld married Johann O. Fehr, son of Johann Fehr and Helena Olfert, on 29 October 1939. Sarah Neufeld died on 10 November 1972 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, at age 55. She was buried at Schanzenfeld, Saskatchewan.

          JOHN O. FEHR FAMILY

     John Fehr was born and raised on his parents' farm, five miles west of Wymark, 26-13-14-W3. He attended Montford School for two years, starting at the age of 17. As teenagers they didn't have as much a variety of entertainment as they do today, so they would often get together for Sunday afternoon ballgames. At one of these outings he met Sarah Neufeld, a close neighbour. They were married on October 29, 1939.
     They lived in Wymark for the first four years of their marriage. John took up a mail route that went to Simmie during this time. then in 1943 they moved to the homeplace where they raised their children, of which one passed away in the winter of 1946. She died of pneumonia at the age of two. Due to weather conditions they were unable to travel for medical help.
     In 1968 they sold their farm to a daughter and son-in-law, Harv and Betty Seib, and took their house in Wymark in trade. John is presently residing there.
     John and Sarah were married 32 years, in which they shared many joys and sorrows. Sarah passed away in 1972. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and did much cooking and entertaining of friends.
     The family members are as follows: Helen married Peter Neudorf and they and they have four children. Sue married Larry Grose and have three children. John married Betty Ann Ens and have five children. Betty married Harvy Seib and have four children. Bill married Linda Hildebrandt and have three children. Marion married Harvey Engel and have three children. Peter married Norma Peters and have two children. Roy married Marilyn Wieler and have one son. (see separate personal histories).
     Recollections: At the age of nine I operated a team of four horses, plowing the fields. The hame strap hadn't been fastened properly; as a result the horse started kicking. I didn't know what to do, so I ran home screaming. My mother was experienced at those things and came to my rescue.

     Sarah Neufeld is the daughter of Douglas Peter Neufeld and Tanya Rae Schlageter.

     Sarah Gin Neufeld is the daughter of Kelly James Neufeld and Linso Mary Wong.

     Sarah P. Neufeld is the daughter of Johann J. Neufeld and Helena P. Peters. Sarah P. Neufeld married Abram A. Harms at Nuevo Ideal, Durango.

     Shari Alyson Neufeld is the daughter of Larry Craig Neufeld and Lois June Klassen. Shari Alyson Neufeld married Dan Wiebe, son of Johann Wiebe and Anne Peters, on 25 June 2000 at La Crete, Alberta.

     Sharon Marlene Neufeld married Brian Kenneth Fehr, son of Henry Fehr and Mary Arendt, on 8 August 1987 at Winnipeg, Manitoba.

     Shawn Neufeld is the son of Wesley David Neufeld and Kathy Loewen.

     Sheila Neufeld is the daughter of Cornelius Neufeld and Margaret Friesen. Sheila Neufeld married Heinrich Wolfe, son of Klaas J. Wolfe and Sarah Bergen, on 6 July 1986.
