     Katharina Quiring was the daughter of Kornelius Quiring and Maria Kaethler. Katharina Quiring married Johann Peters, son of Wilhelm Peters and Anna Froes, on 26 November 1872. Katharina Quiring married Peter H. Dyck, son of Herrmann Dyck and Helena Fehr, on 6 January 1884 at Blumenort, Manitoba. Katharina Quiring died on 30 September 1929 at Manitoba at age 77.
     She immigrated on 19 July 1875 to Quebec City, Quebec, arriving aboard the S. S. Canadian.

She was buried at Kaslo, British Columbia.
